CURRENT FORMATION TIME
"How long will it take to form my company?" is probably the most common question we get asked by new customers. It can be a difficult question to answer as it is dependant on how busy Companies House is and how fast they are forming companies at any given time. Rather than give you a vague estimate (most formation agents cite between three and five hours) we can give you a more accurate figure that represents our actual current turnaround time. Unfortunately we can't guarantee your company is formed in this time, however it should give you a better idea of what to expect.
Current Formation Time: 2 HOURS 27 MINUTES

How is it Calculated?
This figure represents the average turnaround time (in business hours) for incorporations over the last week. This is the time between when you finalise your order online to when Companies House informs us that your company has been succesfully incorporated. We do not include formations that have had to be put on hold because of an issue with the order or because they have been rejected by Companies House as this figure can be dependent on a number of factors out of our control. These sort of issues are rare and most companies are formed without any problems.
The average turnaround time is usually between two and three hours. When it is slightly higher than that it will most likely be due to a particularly high volume of formations or, in cases where it is significantly higher, technical problems at Companies House. Often it is much lower, sometimes under an hour. Our record turnaround time currently stands at just seventeen minutes!
What Happens Next?
Once we have been notified that your company has been formed we will send you an email with your Company Registration Number and an electronic copy of your Articles of Association and Certificate of Incorporation attached. We aim to do this within minutes of your company being formed. For CD and Printed packs we will despatch them the same day by Royal Mail First Class post (or by courier if you select that option during the order process).
What about Rejections?
There are a variety of reasons that a new company may be rejected by Companies House. If your company is rejected we will contact you as soon as possible to fix any issues that may have arisen.
Our online ordering process has been tailored to help you form a company that is fully compliant with Companies House' requirements with regards to incorporation. In addition every order is checked by one of our trained staff for any issues that might cause the formation to be rejected. As a result we have an extremely low rejection rate and the vast majority of companies are formed on their first submission.
On the rare ocassion that a company is rejected we will contact you to discuss and verify any changes that need to be made before resubmitting it at no additional cost.
