We can provide a registered office for your company where a separate address for service of routine paperwork from authorities such as Companies House and the Inland Revenue may be required for various reasons.

This service can be particularly useful for new businesses or smaller companies, such as those being run by a sole director from home. Quite clearly, it is often advantageous to conceal the fact a business is only very small, especially when starting out, and a simple search at Companies House can very quickly disclose the fact that the company is registered at the director’s home address. Our Registered Office Service prevents this possibility and further protects your business relationships.

We would emphasise that the facility is intended solely as the address to be entered in the public record for the service of official routine mail only, and must not be used as a trading address or for collection and forwarding of general mail. Your stationery must not indicate this to be the only address for the business, and an alternative correspondence or trading address must also be shown. The registered office address must, however, be included on your business stationery (this is a legal requirement) but we ask that you do not display our telephone number under any circumstances.

Up to 15 items of mail per year will be forwarded free of charge, unopened and without delay by first class post to any specified UK or EC address. On average, official routine mail received at the registered office address should exceed no more than 6-10 items per annum, and experience shows that this applies to over 95% of our clients. Should this limit be exceeded, we will charge an additional £1.50+VAT per item. The charge of £1.50 applies to all items forwarded to addresses outside the EC.

We can provide a registered address at our head office in Cheshire at an annual fee of £85.00 plus VAT , or at a London W1 address at an annual fee of £110.00 plus VAT .

If a more comprehensive service is required, or if you expect that for any reason the number of items of mail received at the registered office will exceed the above limit, we are happy for you to use our address either in Cheshire or in London for general mailing purposes, by way of our mail forwarding service.
