In line with the Companies and Limited Liability Partnerships (Annotation) Regulations 2025, I can confirm that corporate annotations are now available on relevant CRO Info search products, such as our Full Insolvency Report, UK Company Document Packages, and UK Company Analysed Reports.
As you may be aware, with effect from 9 June, Companies House began to annotate the register if:
- It becomes aware that a director of a company is subject to director disqualification sanctions under the Company Directors Disqualification Act 1986;
- It has served notice on a person in exercise of its power to require information under section 1092A of the Companies Act 2006 (whether a document has been delivered) and the recipient of the notice has not fully complied with the notice; or
- It has taken, or is intending to take, steps to strike off a company registered on a false basis.
Striking off
- Incorporation – The registrar is intending to take, or has taken, steps to strike off this company under section 1002A of the Companies Act 2006. This relates to information or a statement in an application for incorporation that is misleading, false, or deceptive
- Restoration – The registrar is intending to take, or has taken, steps to strike off this company under section 1002A of the Companies Act 2006. This relates to information or a statement in an application for restoration that is misleading, false, or deceptive.
