To use the express dispatch service, you must place your order before 11am on Friday 19 December to meet Royal Mail posting dates.
If you order after 11am your order will still be produced but a despatch date cannot be guaranteed.
Ordering certified documents and certificates from Companies House
Online services
Companies House online services are available throughout the Christmas and new year period.
You can use the online services to:
- file your company accounts
- file your confirmation statement
- make changes to your company
- close your company
You’ll need your company authentication code. Allow plenty of time if you need to request a code as it will be sent to your company by post.

If you need to file your accounts on paper, you should send them to them well before the deadline and consider using guaranteed next day delivery.
Companies House cannot accept postal delays as a reason to appeal a late filing penalty.
